It’s been a gift to witness an indelible memory for the eyes of many, a Jewish wedding celebrated at the estate of Son Mir accompanied by our custom-made catering services.
An engagement which took place under a huppah, the nuptial canopy, symbol of the new family roof. A ceremony that included those always present rituals from a Jewish wedding: the blessings, the rings gift, the marriage agreement, the “Seven Blessings” and the most characteristic, the cup breaking, an antique custom which evokes the fragility of marriage and the effort needed to keep it mutual and strong.
After the couple’s engagement and the congratulations from the guests, the ceremony continued with the reception and the banquet, a work from our chef Marc Fosh. Due to the Jewish tradition which takes and treats the couple as kings, so our catering service did by means of a gift of flavours and luxury for their discerning palates. A crew composed of 39 waiters and wine stewards, 12 barmen and cocktail shakers, 15 cooks, 2 chefs, 3 maîtres and two managers, together in one only mission, to grant this special day with a touch of exclusivity.
We were glad to witness this engagement, packed with love, music, dancing and lots of taste to celebrate the couple’s engagement.
