During April 28th to May 2nd, Mallorca was the meeting point for the nautical sector. Another year of the Palma Boat Show was celebrated, which has fast become the leading boat show in the Mediterranean. Yesterday their 34th edition closed with an attendance of 32,000 visitors, 10% more than the previous year, showing the current popularity of the event.
The show is an essential date for both businesses in the sector as well as investors, tourists and boat enthusiasts, which this year has been enjoyed by 224 exhibitors with 220 boats, a greater number than previous years.
The fair is organised by the Institute for Business Innovation (IDI) and Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA) who have introduced some new events including the first Investment Forum for the nautical sector, the “Night of the Sea” and the Traditional Marina area.
For the fourth year running, Fosh Catering was also present at the event, at the Palma Super Yacht Show where all the luxury boats were located. In this privileged area, visitors could see the many options on offer in an enchanting space: the Blue Café & Gastro Bar. Some original and creative dishes caused a sensation among visitors and left no one indifferent. Among the new dishes this year, there was the exquisite sushi and an irresistible new selection of gourmet tapas. Truly spectacular!
5 days of gastronomy full of great moments at the foot of Palma Cathedral, close to the sea, with a creative variety of culinary delights on offer. As always, with the highest quality ingredients, Mediterranean and seasonal products, but adding an exotic touch with sushi, and always innovating. We hope to see you again next year with the same excitement as always!
